| IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. — The St. Paul Boulevard Fire District is opening its doors—long before any construction begins. In response to community feedback, district leaders are inviting residents to a series of informational meetings to talk openly about the proposed firehouse project and what it means for the future of local emergency services.
At the heart of this effort is a simple message featured on the district’s latest public postcard: “We’ve heard your concerns—let’s talk.”
Why This Matters :
In the message shared with residents, the district emphasizes that Health, Safety, and Readiness are essential to keeping emergency crews prepared to serve the community. As call volumes rise and equipment demands increase, the Fire District believes that ensuring a safe, modern workspace is crucial for maintaining high-quality response capabilities.
The informational campaign aims to help residents understand the needs driving the proposed firehouse project, while also giving them a platform to ask questions, voice concerns, and share their perspectives.
